A Twitch streamer known online as Krimoe and at least 11 others were arrested near the Houses of Parliament after waving what appeared to be an imitation gun during a live IRL broadcast.
The incident unfolded outside Westminster Bridge late on January 3, when police were alerted to a group of men allegedly carrying a firearm in public. Officers arrived quickly, confronting the group and ordering them to put their hands up before detaining and handcuffing several individuals.
During the livestream, Krimoe was seen holding the toy gun and shouting phrases like “bang, bang, bang” and “shoot the ops,” while jokingly mimicking a rapper. The prop was passed around among members of the group in full view of passing traffic, escalating concern among bystanders and authorities. At one point, an officer could be heard shouting, “Has someone here got a gun? … No f***ing about,” moments before multiple Metropolitan Police vehicles arrived with flashing lights.
Police later confirmed that up to 13 people were arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm in a public place — an offense in the UK that can carry serious legal consequences, including potential jail time. All those detained were eventually released under investigation as inquiries continue.
Shortly after the incident, Krimoe revealed that Twitch had banned him for 30 days over the stunt. Addressing his followers on Instagram days later, he admitted the situation was a mistake and announced he would move his streaming to YouTube while serving the ban. His post appeared to show him leaving the UK for Dubai, suggesting he departed the country in the aftermath of the arrest.
